Types of Events

Peer to Peer

A peer learning session where everyone teaches and learns from one another. We share the technical aspects of shibari in a horizontal, non-hierarchical format. If you’re new to Kinkoi, this is the event we recommend starting with.

JAM / Practice

An open practice session where we experiment with shibari freely, in an intimate atmosphere where we express ourselves through rope. JAMs may sometimes have a theme. Sex-positive event.

Sensory Rope Lab

An exploratory session going beyond rope to include other objects and sensations. The space provides shared toys, and you are welcome to bring your own. Sex-positive event.

Rope Photo & Art

A session for artistic creation around rope. Draw someone in bondage, set the atmosphere with music, photograph those who wish, dance, embroider, improvise — we are waiting for your art.

Shibari Workshops

We organise shibari workshops at different levels, from beginner to advanced. We regularly invite guest instructors to train us, share their techniques, and help us grow in our practice and as a community.

Other Types of Events

Consent and Communication

We organise sessions on themes such as self-knowledge, communication, boundaries and informed consent.

Film & Documentaries

Screening sessions to watch films and documentaries exploring the world of shibari and BDSM.

Social & Fundraising

From clothing swaps to barrels at Granada pubs — social events to spread awareness of shibari and raise funds for the association.

Do you have a proposal?
